Black Archives Hall of Fame 2024

Join the Black Archives Museum as we honor Ms. Mary Brown and Mr. Roy Wedlow as the newest inductees of the Black Archives Hall of Fame.

Mary Brown has touched many lives in a positive way in St. Joseph.She holds certifications in Early Childhood and Behavioral Disorders and taught in the St. Joseph School District for 31 years.She worked 15 years with the Special Olympics and has served on the board and as a volunteer at the Open Door Food Kitchen.

Roy Wedlow moved to St. Joseph in 1987 and began working for the St. Joseph Police Department in 1992. Roy has mentored hundreds of youth in Midtown teaching art, poetry, and martial arts.
